Jurutungo sits at the foot of the mountain beneath Finca Nuguo in Renacimiento, Panama, managed by Pocho Gallardo. Where Nuguo commands the summit, Jurutungo wraps around its skirt, a distinct micro-terroir that Pocho tends with the same meticulous care that has made the Nuguo name synonymous with exceptional Panamanian Geisha. This honey-processed lot, scoring 91 points, is a testament to how intimately he understands every corner of his land.
Dried with mucilage intact, the honey process lends this Geisha a rich sweetness and silky body that frames its varietal character beautifully. The result is a layered, aromatic cup with notes of tangerine, kiwi and raspberry.
