Discover the elegance of Kukurucho Geisha, grown by second-generation producer Rony Gamez on his mountain-top farm in La Paz, Honduras. Rony began producing coffee over a decade ago with an ambitious goal: to establish a farm that could serve as a research centre and processing hub for his community. Named after its mountain peak location—"Cucurucho" in Spanish—the 5-hectare farm now functions as both a production site and seed bank, safely isolated to provide project producers with access to diverse coffee varieties including Typica, Geisha, Pacamara, and SL-28.
This washed Geisha is hand-picked at peak ripeness, carefully floated, pulped without water, and slow-dried on raised beds for 25 days. The result is a clean, aromatic cup with layered notes of mango, white nectarine and jasmine.
